The Application Process

Start Online Submission

For Online Admission Application visit https://tnagfi.ucanapply.com/
Register your application by giving required information, and Activate the registration. For more information
Note : All information should be entered carefully and kindly make note of it

Signin to Fill the Application

Once Registration is done, you can SIGN IN with your username (registered email address) and password
Start filling up the application by clicking MY APPLICATION
Select Undergraduate or Diploma Application  in the dropdown and Proceed with the application

Filling Application

Keep the following items in ready before applying

  1. Email id, Mobile no,
  2. Scanned photograph (Less than 100KB),
  3. Scanned signature (Less than 100KB),
  4. Scanned certificates

Application Submission

Complete all stages of Application with required information.
The preference list shows all the eligible degree and college combinations under Course College Selection. You have to give preference for all the combinations. You can change only the order of the preferences.
Based on your ranking, communal reservation and order of preferences, you will be allotted any college in the list of college degree combination.

COUNSELING

After the release of rank list, candidates shortlisted will be informed through SMS and e-mail.
Selection process for general reservation candidates is done only through online counseling.
For Diploma : Single window counseling system is being followed for admission to all diploma programs and for campus allotment.

Eligibility

B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture

Higher Secondary Course (HSC)/CBSE/Equivalent-Academic Stream

  • Group I: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
  • Group II: Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any one of the following subjects as fourth (elective) subject viz., Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Microbiology or Home Science or Computer Science
  • Group II (A): Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology

Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture

HSC / Equivalent – Academic Stream

Candidates should have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology in the qualifying examinations.

HSC – Vocational Stream

  • Candidates who passed HSC under vocational stream and studied Biology and Vocational Subject Agricultural Practices (theory and practical) are eligible to apply.

  • Candidates who passed HSC under vocational stream and studied Biology, Agricultural Science – Theory, Agricultural Science – Practical and Computer Technology as vocational subjects are eligible to apply.
